About the Author

Thirty years before Sue Baker House wrote this book, she experienced a personal revelation of God’s divine romance. She began to search Scripture to verify that her experience was biblical. Her quest led her to an even deeper encounter with Jesus in the Song of Solomon. Out of that, she birthed years of Bible studies on the Song of Songs and a lifelong passion to draw others into a love relationship with the Lord.

Sue holds a master’s degree in biblical studies from True Light College of Biblical Studies and is an ordained minister of the gospel.

A retired teacher of exceptional children, Sue now serves on staff as an Area Representative with Fellowship of Christian Athletes for Duplin County Schools in North Carolina, where every week she influences coaches and athletes to follow Jesus.

Sue is the mother of Aaron, Caleb, and Rachel and grandmother to Ethan and Ryan, whom she adores. She is close to her brothers, Richard Baker and Isaac Baker and is very much a part of their families.

About the Illustrator

Zani Inder is a South African-born artist who currently resides in Western Australia. Her artistry centers around graphite pencil where she depicts her subject matter in a near-realistic manner. It is not her intention to create hyper realistic artworks, as she loves to let the viewer experience the movement and raw beauty that the graphite creates.

Zani integrates charcoal, adding depth and rich values to her detailing. She draws the viewer's attention to the subject matter by leaving a pure white background to help focus the viewer's eyes on the important parts of the artwork. Zani finds her inspiration for subject matter in creation-specifically people, nature, and animals-and often depicts them in her artworks. Her skill set extends to watercolors and oil paints, allowing for a diverse range of emotional expressions.

With a decade-long career of creating and selling original art, Zani also dedicates herself to nurturing young talents, teaching Visual Art to high school students and conducting workshops.
